ABOUT ME

Katina Mistrioty
University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Human Ecology
Bachelor of Science in Interior Architecture
Certificate in Graphic Design
I was born in raised in the Milwaukee area and like to spend my free time being active in the outdoors. In the winter I enjoy traveling west to ski and in the warmer months I love to hike and just learned to golf! I also appreciate live music and am always open to going to a concert.
As a creative and motivated interior architecture and graphic design graduate, I am seeking an entry level position to apply my Revit, AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Suite skills in a hands-on work environment. I’m passionate about design and hope to continue to develop my skills in the field of interior architecture and interior design.
Currently, I am working as an interior design intern in the Workplace Studio at EUA's Milwaukee office where I have gained experience working in a large firm on projects of varying sizes and phases. In October, I will be taking the NCIDQ IDFX exam to work toward my certification. It is important to me to become recognized as a professional interior designer, as well as elevate my expertise in understanding and applying current codes for my projects.
My involvement in UW-Madison's Interior Design organization and IIDA's Wisconsin Student Chapter deepened my appreciation for the diverse possibilities within the field of interior design. I am looking forward to beginning my career as a designer where I can continue to build upon my education, learn in a professional environment, and contribute to a design team.
